Return Policy Overview

We accept returns and exchanges of eligible products within 30 days of the original purchase date. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation included.

Return Eligibility

The following conditions apply to all returns:

  • Products must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date
  • Items must be in original, unopened packaging with all factory seals intact
  • All accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and other included materials must be present
  • Original proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required
  • Products must not show signs of installation attempts, physical damage, or modification

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Products with broken factory seals or missing packaging
  • Special order or custom-configured items
  • Installation parts that have been opened (wiring harnesses, mounting brackets, etc.)
  • Software, digital products, or activation codes that have been opened or used
  • Products damaged due to improper installation attempts
  • Clearance items marked as "final sale"
  • Products that have been installed in a vehicle

Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Call our customer service team at (731) 692-3200 or email us at emmittdeleon@ronsautoelecs.com within 30 days of receiving your product. Please have your order number and purchase details ready.
  2. Return Authorization: Our team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This number must be clearly marked on the outside of your return package.
  3. Package Your Return: Securely pack the item in its original packaging with all included accessories and documentation. Include a copy of your receipt and the RMA number.
  4. Ship Your Return: Send your return to our store address: Ron's Antennas & Electronics, 1071 N Main St, Dyer, TN, 38330-1007. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (you received an incorrect or defective item). If the return is due to our error, we will provide a prepaid shipping label or reimburse your return shipping costs.

Processing Time

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the status of your refund or exchange. If approved, refunds will typically be processed within 5-7 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase:

  • Credit Card Purchases: Refunded to the original credit card used for the purchase
  • Debit Card Purchases: Refunded to the original debit card used for the purchase
  • Cash Purchases: Refunded by store credit or check if the amount exceeds $50
  • Gift Card Purchases: Refunded as store credit

Refund Deductions

Please note that the following deductions may apply to refunds:

  • A restocking fee of 15% may apply to opened items that are otherwise in resalable condition
  • Items returned without original packaging may incur a 20% restocking fee
  • Missing accessories or components will reduce the refund amount accordingly
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Exchanges

If you need to exchange an item for the same product (due to a defect) or a different product, please follow the same process as returns. For exchanges:

  • If exchanging for an identical item, no additional fees will apply
  • If exchanging for a different item, you will be responsible for any price difference
  • If the new item costs less than the returned item, we will refund the difference
  • If the new item costs more, you will need to pay the additional amount

Exchange Shipping

For exchanges, customers are responsible for the shipping costs to return the original item. We will cover the shipping cost for sending the replacement item within the continental United States.

Defective Products

If you receive a defective product, please contact us immediately at (731) 692-3200. Defective products reported within 7 days of receipt may be eligible for:

  • Immediate replacement with the same product
  • Exchange for a different product of equal value
  • Full refund including original shipping charges

Manufacturer Warranty Claims

For products that develop issues after the 30-day return period but are still under manufacturer warranty:

  • We will assist you in processing warranty claims with the manufacturer
  • Most manufacturers require proof of purchase and product registration
  • Warranty service may be handled through repair, replacement, or credit at the manufacturer's discretion

Installation-Related Returns

For products installed by Ron's Antennas & Electronics:

  • Products that fail during or immediately after professional installation will be replaced at no additional cost
  • Installation fees are non-refundable unless the installation was performed incorrectly
  • Products damaged during DIY installation attempts are not eligible for return or warranty service
  • Vehicle damage resulting from improper DIY installation is not covered by our policies

We strongly recommend professional installation for complex automotive electronics to prevent damage to both the product and your vehicle.

Special Circumstances

Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Document the damage with photos before opening the package further
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at (731) 692-3200
  • We will arrange for return shipping and replacement at no cost to you

Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item:

  • We will send the correct item and provide a return label for the incorrect item at no cost to you
  • Please do not attempt to install or use the incorrect item
